I work predominantly with silver, mixed metals and semi precious stones: many of my pieces utilise etching techniques and impressing: the etched patterenwork and imagery finds its source in my illustrative imagery, and developed naturally from 2D to 3D as I explored new ways of displaying my work. I did not want to be restricted to paper, ink and virtual space as a medium; having always had a love and facination for jewellery, it seemed a logical course on which to develop.
